Getting Back
to the HeART
Jubilee Arts, in partnership with the Black Male Identity
(BMI) Project (morethan28days.com)
will hosts “Hip Hop: Getting Back to the HeART” to examine
and celebrate the power of hip hop music to shape views on
black masculinity.
July 23:
Jazz clinic
(4pm) and concert (8pm)
An opportunity in partnership with
Contemporary Arts Inc. for students and adults to learn
about jazz in a free clinic with the
Todd Marcus Jazz
Orchestra. Participants are encouraged to bring their
instruments and will learn about and perform jazz with
members of the Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra which includes
brass and woodwind instruments, piano, bass, and drums. The
clinic will also offer information on pursuing a career as a
professional musician. The clinic is FREE and the concert is

Reviving the Avenue Arts Legacy art sale and fundraiser
to benefit Jubilee Arts
Help keep Jubilee Arts up and running by supporting our 2nd
annual art fundraiser. The evening will feature works
for sale by Baltimore artists Matthew Rice, Renee Lewis, and
Iranian artist Afasaneh Faridi as well as ceramic art by

Open Mic event in celebration of National Poetry
Month, featuring performances by Jubilee Arts creative
writing participants.

End of Term Celebration
You're invited to celebrate the end of our Winter
Term on Saturday, March 12 from 1pm to 3pm. Come enjoy
performances by our dance, drum and creative writing class
participants and presentations from our visual arts and
ceramics classes. There will be food and fun for all!

Healing
Art: Art That Heals the Soul
An exhibit by Iranian born artist Afsaneh Faridi which
translated on canvas the messages of love, hope, peace,
harmony, and perseverance.
